The Tsuchigumo Katana (土蜘蛛), named after the mythical Japanese “earth spider,” represents stealth, patience, and deadly precision. Its design blends traditional craftsmanship with modern refinement.

Blade (刀身): Forged from resilient spring steel, this katana offers both flexibility and durability, perfect for martial practice or elegant display.

Guard (Tsuba 鍔): The tsuba depicts a detailed frog in copper relief — a symbol of protection and transformation — crafted with exquisite texture and antique finishing.

Handle (Tsuka 柄): Wrapped in black cotton over imitation stingray skin, the tsuka provides a solid grip and a refined aesthetic, enhanced by hand-placed iron menuki and twin mekugi pins for secure assembly.

Scabbard (Saya 鞘): The saya features a marbled black-and-white lacquer pattern, creating a dynamic contrast that evokes the natural texture of stone and shadow — true to the spirit of Tsuchigumo.
